A handbag is an essential part of a women's life, one that carries her most valuable possessions. The outside often a depiction of her favourite colour or image, and the style often matching her outfit.I can imagine that she wishes at times her life was the very depiction of what is seen on the outer part of her handbag, but more than the outer part, it’s what is found on the inside of the handbag that matters most.As women we all carry the handbag, which is our life, various roads travelled, some often filled with more speed bumps than others, a journey of curves and edges we never asked for, as they just seem to have stopped right on our doorstep. Inside the handbag of a women we find things such as her purse, hand cream, mirror, hairbrush, make-up, tissues, pills, photos, journal, etc. And depending on whether she is single, married, a mother or a grandmother, the extension of her lifespan is often a reflection of what you will find inside her handbag. Each one of these items can actually tell a story of her emotional, physical and financial state and more so her state of mind. Because, if we dig a little deeper we will find out a little more about the women behind the handbag. Her purse can perhaps tell you her financial situation and how that has been affecting her emotionally and physically. The pills in her bag can often tell what her health condition is. The absence or presence of make-up in her handbag, could be an indication of whether she is a make-up girl or not. A women filled with dreams and vision always carry a journal. And the photo that she placed within the frame of her purse can be that of the love of her life or someone she dearly loved whom she has lost to the grave. After my reflection of a women’s handbag.
